How To Disable And Enable Touch Pad

 Today We Are Sharing With You This Cool New Article On How You Can Disable Your Touch Pad (PC Touch Screen) Completely On Windows 10 & When You Plug In And External Mouse.


DISABLE & ENABLE TOUCH PAD (TOUCH SCREEN) COMPLETELY ON WINDOWS 10


  • Open Run Command (Press Windows key + R for that). Input the command "main.cpl" (without double quotes) and then hit the "Enter" key. It'll open "Mouse Properties" popup.

  • After The Pop Up Menu Appears Navigate Towards "Touch Pad Tab" 

  • Now, click on "Stop Device" or "Disable" button depending on the one you've in your device.

 Then Hit "Yes" in the Confirmation Popup That's all. The touch pad is disabled completely.

DISABLE TOUCH PAD (TOUCH SCREEN) WHEN MOUSE IS PLUGGED IN


  • Open Run Command (Press Windows key + R for that). Input the command "main.cpl" (without double quotes) and then hit the "Enter" key. It'll open "Mouse Properties" popup.

  • After The Pop Up Menu Appears Navigate Towards "Touch Pad Tab" 

  • Now, hit "Disable when external USB pointing device plug in."

Then Hit "Yes" in the Confirmation Popup That's it. From now on, the touchpad will be disabled when the mouse is connected.


If you want to enable touch pad, then go to the "Touch pad" tab of "Mouse Properties," click "Enable Device" or "Enable" button depending on the one you've in your device, and then hit "OK" button at the bottom.
